Registration Fees

The registration fees for the Winter Camp Program are as detailed below:

Troop Deposits – Winter Camp Program
Due by November 12th 2017: $50.00 per youth

Youth Participant – Winter Camp Program

  •  Before December 3rd 2017: $130.00 per youth
  • After December 3rd 2017 $155.00 per youth


Adult Participant

  • For 1-5 Scouts = 1 Free Adult
  • For 6-25 Scouts = 2 Free Adults
  • For 26 or More = 3 Free Adults
  • Additional Adults $75.00 per adult


December 17th 2017
is the last day for any youth or adult registrations for Winter Camp.

Important Notes:

1. Troop deposits are due by November 12th. This $50.00 fee per youth participant reserves your Troop and any Campsite preferences. Merit Badge login information will be provided at this time.

2. The Winter Camp Program is limited to 200 youth participants. Any persons wishing to register after this quota has been achieved will be placed on a waiting list.

3. If a participant is placed on a waiting list prior to December 3rd they will be locked into the ‘Before December 3rd fee.

4. And adults staying in Camp over 24 hours will be required to provide copies of the following:

Refund Policy

The refund policy for Winter Camp fees are as detailed below:

1. Youth and adult fees are transferable within your unit at any time.

a. Please advise the Camp Director and the Program Director regarding any adjustments so that Personnel Rosters and the Online Merit Badge Registration System can be updated accordingly.

2. In the event of a cancellation that cannot be transferred within your unit, the following parameters will apply:

a. Before December 13th 2017: 80% of the registration fee will be refunded

b. After December 13th 2017: No refund available, unless in the event of a Medical Emergency. Documentation of the Medical Emergency must be provided with the refund request.

Webelos Resident Camp

Camping is the great outdoor adventure of Scouting. As a Webelos Scout becomes at home in the outdoors, they learn some of the skills, resourcefulness, and self-reliance of the pioneer. The aims and methods of Scouting are all pertinent in the outdoor camping experience.

Webelos Resident CampResident camping is perhaps the best opportunity for Scouts to fully immerse themselves in the outdoor experience. The resident camp schedule includes time for a Scout to achieve personal advancement, bond with his pack and fellow Webelos Scouts, and participate in activities of a personal interest.

All packs should attend a resident camp program. Resident Camp is vital for advancement progress, team building, and leadership development for Scouts. There’s something for all ages of Scouts. The Scouts will be working on Adventure requirements. The Arrow of Light Scouts can get involved with all the fun things that Boy Scouts do, and get excited about crossing over.

As your pack begins making plans for the coming year, remember to include resident camp. If
securing adequate adult leadership for a week of resident camp is a challenge, let us know. We can partner your pack with another that has ample adult leadership. If you have Webelos Scouts who are not able to attend Resident Camp with your pack for whatever reason, let us know. At Scott Scout Ranch, we offer Provisional Camping, which forms patrols of individual Webelos Scouts who wouldn’t otherwise have been able to attend camp. Provisional campers are supervised by adult volunteers.

The bottom line is, as a pack leader, make the commitment to provide the opportunity for ALL of your Webelos Scouts to attend Resident Camp. The Three Rivers Council is committed to helping you provide these opportunities. If you have obstacles, please contact us at (409) 842-5240, and we will do our best to find a way to help you.

Registration Fees

Adult Participant

  • For 3-5 Scouts = 1 Free Adult
  • For 6-25 Scouts = 2 Free Adults
  • For 26 or More = 3 Free Adults Additional Adults
  • Additional Adults = $75

 

Any adults staying in Camp over 24 hours will be required to provide copies of the following:

 

A ratio of one Leader to four Webelos must be maintained with two adults at all times. If registering as individuals a ratio of one parent to one Webelos must be maintained at all times.

Medical: All Participants, including all adults, must have the CURRENT year BSA medical form completely filled out and signed. (Part A, B & C)

As a parent, you can register your Webelos and yourself as individuals and come have fun with us. A ratio of one parent to one Webelos must be maintained at all times if registering as individuals.
